Thanks, Paul!
As a School Governor I am legally bound to not personally profit from the activities of the school. Thus all I do is because it is right on so many levels. All I contribute is at a personal loss in terms of time, energy and £ and all willingly done so (no sympathy vote wanted here!). There is no personal agenda - I just wanted to make that clear to the hard-working members of BAFRA. I feel my situation offers opportunities that are useful for the development of the sport overall and to the development of recruitment within BAFRA in particular. Of course, it will be good for the school as well.
In some ways I feel guilty about the number of posts but it is meant for the good of everyone. There is no desperate ego here, just the awareness of potential opportunity that could be taken advantage of...and as the largest school of its kind in the uk (2600 pupils), not a bad place to make a mark for everyone!
with best wishes to all
