A 10 man crew (minimum - it says "some of the officials") - don't think BAFANL teams would have taken too kindly to paying 10 x £40 to cover any of their games! Obviously all of these guys were first game associate officials who gave up their game cheques to cover the cost of training them!
When was this game anyway? Assume early 1900s?

My bad, I've just noticed the c.1934 tag. Also I believe that all BAFRA officials waive their game fees for charity games too.

Pirates were an NFL team started in 1933 and played at Forbes Field. It may be that this charity game against College ALL-Stars had both NFL and College officials. In the 1930's, a 4 man crew would typical.

Would this be before or after the NFL stopped using pure NCAA rules and started to have their own rulebook, I wonder?
