As I'm getting more and more game film (and more and more Clips). I'm starting to run out of storage space. I tend to work on my laptop but store film on an External Hard Disk that's connected to a desktop PC. This external Hard Disk is good - but it isn't portable.
What I'd like is a reasonable portable External Hard Disk - that's got plenty of space preferably.
Anyone have any suggestions or seen any good offers recently?

Just to throw another one out into the mix - I have a Fujitsu Storagebird. www.ebuyer.com/product/244629 - that is the 1.5TB version, and they sometimes come with a Seagate drive fitted anyway Avoid anything with Hitachi/IBM - there is a good reason Deskstar drives are known as "Deathstars" Seagate Barracuda or anything by Western Digital you can't go too far wrong, obviously every drive manufacturer knocks out the odd wrongun from time to time but Seagate and WD tend to have a "longer time between wronguns" - wonder if I can get that adopted as a benchmark Also if you want to go with the one Davie mentioned - I suggest checking this link: www.ebuyer.com/product/249160£95 for the 2TB version in comparison to that Amazon reseller knocking out the 1TB for £122 (both prices rounded up)

I have a Freecom USB drive which has done good service over a number of years.

I have a Transcend Storejet that I use for film. The only downer on it is that it requires 2 USB ports so that it can get enough power (it does not have/need its own power supply).
