I was just going thru my Twitter thread yesterday and noticed that Neil Reynolds has "suddenly" issued a statement with drawing all "public" support of BAFA. Presumably there is some sort of professional conflict. He quickly tweeted that his support of BAFA soon after:
Original statement: Not making any further comment other than issues with @bafaofficial arose & best to move on. Have loved banging drum for domestic game in UK
Follow-up statement: 1 final thing. Have really enjoyed working with Ali Houghton and wish @bafaofficial Chairman Martin Cockerill all the best. Top men !
any of our membership know anything?

Neil was contracted to do work for BAFA and after personal attacks that impacted on his professional role he ended his contract, lots of good work with NFLUK office and building links producing writeups that went into the wembley game day programmes as well as pod cast highlighting game in UK amongst other things now all gone due to the number of dicks in the sport that feel the need to degrade and destroy anything positive. Lots of bridge building to be done again with NFL and other partners. Also make it harder to get any other professionals interested seeing how they get treated.

That is all to TYPICAL of the game in this country - and has been for years. Too many idiots who can't wait to criticise at merest slip without thinking of the big picture. it would be nice if those muppets could be identified (privately of course) so some of us would know who we need to distance ourselves from.
